In God's Eyes

"God knows your value; He sees your potential. You may not understand everything you are going through right now. But hold your head up high, knowing that God is in control and he has a great plan and purpose for your life. He always confirms your value. No matter what you go through in life, no matter how many disappointments you suffer, your value in God’s eyes always remains the same. You will always be the apple of His eye. He will never give up on you, so don’t give up on yourself.”

Our self-worth is too often based on what other people tell us about ourselves. The one, true authority on our self-worth is Jesus Christ, and since He gave His own life up for us by dying on a cross, that should tell us just how valuable we really are.

-Found these words meaningful so just came here to share about this before bedtime.-

Happy Mid Week everyone =)

What's in my bag

Monday. The first day of work week is really busy. Anyway here I find something interesting enough to write and the last time I wrote about this was already more than a year ago. I found many bloggers do this article to reveal what are in their bags. Then clicked to my older post and I was really surprised to the difference of my bag's contents, looking at the difference of what a university student and a working OL carry in her bag! I'm loving having a more grown up style now. Click HERE for the previous post . So below are the current contents of my handbag =)

Longchamp. Le Pliage in red
Daiso. pen and planner
MNG. phone pouch
House. keys
Accessorize. vintage pouch
Joyce. passport
Fossil. wallet
MNG. little black pouch

And here are some pictures of what the other bloggers' carry in their bags:

What are you carrying around in your bags? Let me know in the comment if you have made a post like this.

(Btw I've left out my umbrella and water bottle in the picture!!!)

1st.June

Can you believe that June is here already? Weekdays in this week were full of laughter, meeting up funny chatty friends, the church friends and my secondary school besties. And so much of laughter that I seriously think that I might get 'laughing lines' or wrinkles; the girls especially, we shall have to catch up more often!

So here are few of my favorite pictures from the mentioned afterwork meet up.

Dinner we had at Lau Pa Sat
(near Raffles Place MRT station)

Dinner at Chilli's! =) (Jcube, Jurong East)

Treasure friends that always listens to you, makes you laugh, and always brings a smile to your face.

Trust In The Lord

The Christian life can sometimes feel like a roller coaster ride when strong hope and faith collide with an unexpected reality. When our prayers aren't answered as we desired and our dreams become shattered, disappointment is the natural result. Had a conversation today regarding the plan after graduated, which honestly i never ever expect the answer will be what I am doing currently, after tough decision made learning to put a 'stop' at that period of time where disappointment is too heavy a burden to bear. And I feel like God has been so sweet to surprise me with a gift/job on the day right before weekend of my graduation day. And all has been a big learning process to me.

The bible is filled with such reassurance that all we have to do is trust God, know the word for yourself and to “let go and let God” do what He purposed for your life long ago.

Don't lose faith in God, no matter the situation. God knows your heart. A sincere heart towards Him will produce results.

I guide you in the way of wisdom and lead you along straight paths. Proverbs 4:11
