Just got back from dinner with former colleagues, laughing my lungs out on a nice Friday after-work dinner. There's a saying that "laughter is the best medicine" which laughter elicits positive mood and the best way to relieve stress. Nowadays we hear a lot the phrase "work-life balance", to me is all about setting your personal priorities, identifying your important personal goals, values, passion and personal lives; and as you move through different stages of life, reevaluating priorities to achieve balance, improving your health, happiness and life as a whole. :)

A glimpse of joy

There will always be ups and downs, twists and turns in our lives. But we have to find the strength to keep motivated and always remember we have God’s peace available to us at all times and His presence in our lives and the peace that comes from Him.

When your mind is constantly stayed on God and His Word, You will remain constantly in a peaceful state of mind  ; you lean on Him and hope confidently in Him. Remaining peaceful, just like staying in faith, is trusting God is with us and is working out all our situations. God knows infinitely more about us more than we will ever know. :)

God does not promise us smooth sailing in life, but He does promise His presence.

Pop in here today as there is a need for me to thank God for His provision and plan in 2014 and thank God who given me the strength to trust in His plan.

Even things have not really settled down perhaps I will update about it in my upcoming post. 

I remember earlier in this year I did a draft post planning to write about my New Year's resolutions. However I realised I don’t usually set New Year's resolutions besides continuously putting efforts and time in things I have been doing or seeking improvements; I have my small plans but continuously seeking God’s guidance to lead me the way. I have been seeing things going quite differently since earlier this year; for example, attending a different church now and having someone to appear in my life which I believe God makes everything beautiful in his time which amazed me in the way that God orchestrates things with his plan and purpose.

What's your passion?

PASSION. That get you willing to invest your time and effort and doing it with all your heart. Year ago I applied my design course days after the application deadline and time flies that I have just completed two semesters in a total of six modules. 

PASSION. The reason you wake up in the morning knowing what to do and to continue doing, and just the thought of it can keep you up late with excitement.

Not really it must be your job or full-time passion, it just creates excitement and self-worth, or might be the passion you have had since childhood. 

I used to draw a lot when my mum fed me as I was a little child, grabbing colour pencils, drawing, scribbling and writing as if I was a little artist. 

And LOVE, is the PASSION that we feel inside of our hearts that we can't hide. 

Love does not consist of gazing at each other, but in looking together in the same direction.

Lace.Embroidery

I absolutely adore this summer's trend so my my obsessions are currently lace and embroidery items, it is suitable to wear during the hot weather and usually I will pick up style that works for both casual and formal look.
