It's December =)
So here's the post of the month and now I am free from stress and anxiety of completing my weekly and individual assignments, because I have already completed the course! I feel that time really flies so fast that the course has ended and now I do not need to stay up late at night (very late) for all the drawings, paintings and finding new ideas or in presenting the draft design. Oh but in less than a month's time I am continuing for the next term, I expect the course to be less stressful as there's going to be just one class per week unlike the one I have just completed.
Here's the gift given to me for one of the contests we took part, I won that particular contest so I got this PAIR of salt and pepper bottle in the look of two killers. The box that came with the bottles was made by a student. Then here's the closer look of the bottles.
Creative huh? =)

Do not judge
Stereotypes are not always true.
Don't be surprised that people tend to make assumptions, effortlessly putting labels on each other, judging another person or group of people without really knowing them, assuming the created label fits with the personality or type of the person that is being labeled.
I have seen lots of people making assumptions by just looking at a person, putting a label to describe the person base on his/her actions, appearance or behaviour. I can see that it is actually a bad habit proving one's lack of critical thinking skill, assuming something is true than finding the facts. Sometimes I wonder if this will ever stop, will people stop judging others with their eyes and ears. Seeing only a narrow view or down grade other people to feel better about themselves, most of the time I have seen that those assumptions were only make them feel good of being 'right'...I have met people who really made harsh judgement, I think this had really allowed me to know the true personality of the person that the others' might not have seen before.
Most people fail to realise that stereotypes do not conclude about a person. In fact, when you accept and trying to understand others, you will feel good or peaceful of letting go of clinging to the way we want people to be.
Because labels are like covering a person's real identity.
Don’t judge.Observe.Explore.Watch your judging mind.

Sep@ Penang
Signing in and out a couple of times from my company webmail due to unstable internet connection here, so I come here to write little things since I've time. Received the news of my grandpa's passing yesterday morning when I was working, did some quick arrangement onto my work, church and course stuff, we took the night flight back to Penang. The weather here is in a mixture of scorching hot and very heavy rains, there are still lots of relatives and friends attending grandpa's wake.
You will be missed, grandpa. May you rest in peace and may God always take care of you.

A busy August
Friday Evening.
I wish I had more time to be productive for my assignment as the submission date falls on coming week. I find a little slow assignment progress compared to my classmate that I was really busy as a committee for church event in early August, and it's finally on the right track. Life has been hectic for me lately, work keeps piling up and there's another assignment due date in two weeks' time; also there will be song practices for church friend's wedding, so it's making me perpetually impatient waiting for my autumn getaway.
Anyway just got back from dinner with family, at Sankai Japanese restaurant run by sis-in-law's aunt, it's a good place for authentic sushi at a reasonable price. I'll definitely visit again, with my discount card. =D

Steps by Steps. Dots and Lines
It's been a little quiet on this blog lately. That's mainly due to hectic schedule even on the weekends. July, I finally get the opportunity to explore my field of interest, from theoretical to practical studies in the realms of traditional and digital. I was even told that I might get related career direction and the timing amazed me. I believe everything happens for a reason, it truly amazes me the way that God orchestrates things, with His plan and purpose. Learning it's fun, although I'll be pretty busy for a period of time due to the intensive course. =]
Last weekend I was quite excited when my MacBook air arrived, it's unbelievably thin and light, finally my previous six-year-old lappie can have a good rest now. Here's just a peek to my desk at home. =)
