Japanese Language Fair (JLF)

Japanese Culture Week is coming soon!!!!!!

Here we have Japanese Language Fair that going to be held from

1st Feb to 5th Feb 2010,

so let's see what we have for the week =)

1st Feb: Cooking Workshop

-referring to the menu above, we have two sets of delicious Japanese food to be taught during the workshop, choose your favourite set and learn to cook it with us!!!^^

(Set 1: RM19 & Set 2: RM16)

2nd Feb: Origami and Furoshiki Workshop

-origami is the art of paper folding, you will learn to fold and understand why it has now become a beloved artform for people around the world!

-Furoshiki is a traditional Japanese wrapping cloth, it is used for gift wrapping or grocery shopping. =)

(RM 4 per person)

3rd Feb: Yukata Workshop

- Yukata is the Japanese summer cotton kimono worn by man and women. In yukata class you will learn how to wear it and tie yukata belt (Obi) that will be wrapped around the waist wear with the yukata. Photo will be given to each participants to prove the great learning experience you went through! =)

4th Feb: Sewing Workshop

-this is a new workshop of Japanese doll sewing, the class will include some instructions on the sewing patterns too. Here's your great chance to make your own keychain Japanese doll!^^

(RM 6 per person)

5th Feb: Japanese Conversation Workshop

-Join Japanese Conversation Workshop just with RM2! We have Japanese teacher in this workshop to help students to be more confident in Japanese speaking as well as learning more about the language and Japanese culture!

-Here we have a session for those who have no basics in Japanese and another session for those who have basics in Japanese;)

it's lomo!

Heard about lomography for some time already, also find that lomo camera is really small and it's like a cute keychain camera, but not manage to get myself one. Still I always desired my photos to look in lomo effects, it adds something to the photo that gives the old photos feel like vintage photography. Heeheee, now my phone has this lomo camera application already...yay! thanks to bro for that.

Korean food

free to blog today...just back to Malacca and uni is starting tomorrow!!!! lolx.

Aheemm, another post about food, but this is the Korean meal prepared at home for the first time...one of my dinner last week =)

Forgetting something! Haaa...It would be best if eaten with kimchi, really love and ate kimchi alot during my Korea trip last year. Erm...but...we have forgotten to buy it that day, ishhh..XD

Nijyumaru restaurant

Went dinner at Nijyumaru Japanese Restaurant yesterday. Recommended by parent and bro as they been to this restaurant before.

Workers are well trained that every customers who just entered the restaurant were greeted "irasshaimase" (welcome) with echoes, as they greeted customers by shouting the word a few times one waiter followed by another. XD

The interior design is nice, like the yellowish lighting and the ambience there.

Let's see what yummy food we had ordered...not elaborate dish by dish ( forgot the name =p ), but overall i love the food there compared to other japanese restaurants already. hehee

sushi is fresh and displayed nicely^^

Feeling hungry after seeing the pictures? haha, recommended this restaurant for japanese food lover, but make sure that you make the reservation early as the restaurant is always full especially during weekend.

Holiday has come to an end, uni is starting tomorrow!!! >.<

2010

Went to church just now. I was wearing new item, christmas gift from aunty. Love the dress and its nice flower pattern very much.

Hmmm...talking about christmas gift, I have realised that I received more christmas gifts this year, from relatives, parent, church, friends, one special gift that me and my cousin received had surprised us, we screamed with astonishment when we saw the content of gift box. Blushed as well. Anyway we think it is cute. hahax!

"what would you like to plus, minus, times, and divide in your life this year? "I remember I left this question unanswered in one of the blogpost last year...well, whatever the answer to that question, I hope God point me a direction, and continue leading me, along the path, along any ups and downs...
