2/weeks/ago

This was exactly two weeks ago, the look on the night of Company's hat-themed D&D and unexpectedly I won the best hat for female category. I was too surprised with the result and I had no idea what I received for the winning until the second I opened up the box at home. The prize was actually come with the brand of watch printed on the box. Had little phenomenon of stage fright due to joining the company for just more than two months and the result was really a great surprise to me. Standing in front of more than four hundred of people, it was pretty scary... :D

Completely Transparent

Recently I found an idea for accessories storage. I never shifted all my accessories to my staying place in Singapore so as keep them organized. Then this simple clear box enables transparent display of all accessories and one thing I feel really important is that the whole box is "visually transparent" that it does not take up much spaces as wooden jewelry boxes or earring rack, keeping your small items dust free. It's...

Simple. Convenient. Cheap :)

Monday murmur

It's Monday and starting of a new week, probably time for some update...I never fail to show deep interest in room or interior decorating ideas. In a room, you create visual interest in this small living space that will speak your personality and interests. One important thing is that cheap stuff purchased yet without spending much time and money, you met the desired ideas.

I adore modern-vintage decor style :)

What about you, readers?

Places That Worth The Visit

Maybe you'll find me not spending much time in blogging recently as I used those images to replace my words in my previous posts anyway a picture tells a 1000 words! Right? :)

Pictures will still be placed below but it will be really irresistible in front of your empty stomach as I am going to show some food pictures that filling my phone's camera roll lately.

NYDC Cafe, Holland Village

I discovered this Cafe from HungryGoWhere.com, Singapore's most popular dining website. Found some good reviews on this cafe so I suggested to friends to have our dinner at this place. And the picture below, I really can't remember the name for this...aiks...

I'll come again to try the cakes which I heard are the signature dishes in this cafe.

Ma Mansion, Bugis.

It's a Japanese inspired western cafe in Bugis Junction with the English cottage theme. I really like the ambience and interior of vintage feeling...it's like a western countryside house where "Ma Maison" carries the meaning of "My House". Mushroom soup I had that day was nice. :) Overall I would say this is a homely Japanese-French restaurant with food that you will pay at affordable price!

Charlie Brown Cafe, Somerset.

A cute cafe recommended by my friend, it is located at 313 Somerset shopping mall. I have ordered cheesecake and chocolate frappe that day. Drinks was nice and cheesecake was good... Snoopy fans will really like this place you will find "Snoopy and Friends" everywhere in the cafe, even on top of a cake! =)

So these are the three eating places that worth a visit.

Will try to blog much more often :)

Room tour

Inspiration is everywhere it's up to you to keep your eyes and your mind open.
We often think that reality is real because of what we see, but we shouldn't think we know what reality is just by looking.

-Black Planetes (M) Long handle-

I call this as first-month-working present for myself. :) I have been eying Planetes or Le Pliage for quite some time and will do price survey at the airport whenever I go for vacation. This time I got help from my uncle to get this from Australia as it is SGD80 cheaper compared to the price at Malaysia or Singapore...Night blue wasn't selling at the store so I picked the black. I like it due to thick coated canvas and color that is more work appropriate. A bag that holds alot of things and is not heavy is the biggest consideration for me as bag to carry to work everyday, moreover it must be timeless and in simple style :)

Sunday

Life is filled with happiness, sadness, tears, smiles, laughter and other emotions but when life gets you down, just be strong about it and keep your head up high and have faith in all things in life. Always remember: God is at your side, always. :)

Bangkok & Pattaya trip (Part II)

Here goes the second post for my Bkk & Pattaya vacation...It took me really a long time to write on this. Haha

Let me see where did I stop writing on my previous post...Oohh okay, now let me introduce this nice dinner place at Pattaya where we had our BBQ seafood dinner. I love the ambience there as the theme is in unique cruise design, also it faces fascinating sea view of Pattaya beach, which is the North Pattaya Beach. The dinner place it's actually a hotel that designed as a ship, marine look, the waiter and waitress dressed as sailors too! I don't think I ever had an outdoor buffet, I think M'sia should open a theme cafe or restaurant like that. =D

A-One The Royal Cruise Hotel :)

Another Must-go place will be Coral Island, a popular excursion from Pattaya. Jump on board a speed boat and travel a short distance to reach this stunning island. I have to say that it was really a very speeding speed boat, perhaps the speedboat driver who is too familiar with the waterways. Once you reach the Coral island, be amazed at how clear the water is and the lots restaurants and cafe along the beach. Also you will be able to see alot guys n girls ( I have no idea why most were korean there...) in bikini or swimwear. But pretty girls might be actually lady boy, you really have to be careful...Not forgetting the baked squid I had there, like it alot!!!! Coconut drink is a must too under the sunny sun.

I like this! yummy~

Safari World
is really an exciting place, I have seen lots of dolphin performances but this is the first time I see a dolphin in sunnies and straw hat. Too cute! In Safari Zoo, we actually travelled in our tour bus, there is no one allowed to go down from the bus as...you will get eaten by animals and tigers anytime! Haha! There is no fence or cage for all animals and they are able to cross the road anytime and buses have to stop to allow them crossing. But this big area there're areas seperated for wild animals with other tame animals. It was really a great experience as the animals were really close and appearing right in front of you...
Silverlake vineyard is another attraction I like. A really big vineyard and it's also a herbs garden. The design is quite similar to the herbs garden i visited in Korea, although i still prefer Korea's as there are classical music floating in the air everywhere but I still recommend this vineyard in Thailand. Vintage chairs and decorations...The owner of this place is an Thailand actress.

I think I have to continue the remaining attractions in the next post. =p Hehe...please wait in patience...
