Quick update

Yup, today I went for a haircut. So I finally took up my courage to cut bangs, hehe. Actually it's not the first time I've thought about cutting bangs, but always ended up with my regular hairstyle. It was like seven or eight years ago back to secondary school when I've added bangs hanging down over my forehead.
Now onto what I had for dinner today. Actually visited this restaurant for the first time, it's Malay Villange Cafe located at Taman Nusa Bestari, JB. Surprisingly choices of food there are quite abundant, offering a wide variety of Western and Malay cuisine; also, the village interior is nice and interesting.

must try dish in this restaurant: satay :D

my grilled chicken chop with black pepper sauce

Trust me, this place certainly worth a second visit for their delicious and well displayed food. :)

p.l.a.n

With the heavy downpour right now, I've to cancel my plan to go to swim later.
Well lately I'm thinking I might need a new haircut as I haven't had a haircut for some time and thinking that I really need a change, been bored of my regular hairstyle.:D Maybe chopping my long hair off? I'm just kidding, haha. So I think I'm planning to get a new haircut within this week. yeah......:D

Sunday dinner

Treated my family a Japanese dinner with my internship allowance today. A table full of food but I only manage to take pictures of cuisines near to me.
Anyway I love the ebi cheese maki and a soft shell crab sushi (can't remember the exact name), which are the must-order sushi for me at the restaurant. :)
Nice food, friendly service and great ambience are the reasons I'll always go back this restaurant again. =)
Oya, I stumbled upon
a long dress that I've been craving when doing a little shopping after dinner just now. Not too long, but not too short. It has a 50% off discount so absolutely no reason not to grab it :D

Recently Listened Songs

Some songs that I listen recently while reading. Not always the instrumental one. :)

couldn't get the code of its music video to post here
so click here: lucky

Songs from William Wei (韋禮安) and Yen-j (嚴爵) are nice too. Both are talented composers and singers...also they are good in playing instruments. :)

The must see, must eat, must buy in HK^^

Back :) Had my internet connection problem fixed finally, so here's my post about my HK trip! Speaking of this 6 days trip, it was really a fun and enlightening experience. Basically it began with taking flight from Singapore, followed by visiting Shenzhen> Macau> Hong Kong> Shenzhen> and back to Singapore.

Before I say anything else, onto the weather, it's early Autumn now so I assumed the weather is quite cold then I brought along my boots, gloves, and slightly thick sweater in my luggage like what I brought for my Korea trip last year. So, the first day everyone was complaining about the broiling weather, especially visiting places that we have miles to walk under the sun, outdoor activities for whole day. Then starting from the third day, everyday seems to be rainy. Not a pleasant weather though. A sunny and cold autumn wind will be perfect. =D

Many places I went for the couple of days so I'll just picked those must visit places to write here. Not forgetting food I had there so I'll make it two posts for this trip.

In Shenzhen first spot we visited was China Folk Culture Village, for the first day we actually watched three performances, the grand one was Splendid China (锦绣中华) .....it's awesome!Actually we were quite exhausted for the first day as the night before we spent on plane so we didn't get sufficient sleep. Anyway I was impressed by those Chinese costumes and lighting, it's a performance with great combination of culture, art and dance.

Horseback Battle Field stadium

performance: Splendid China

lunch of the day: Roasted pigeon ( must try! ) \(^-^)/

Talk of Macau, I love the atmosphere of historical that can be seen from all sorts of old buildings . Must see place is St. Paul's Ruins (大三巴牌坊).

And, must buy souvenir, cookies or biscuits will be from the shop just below St. Paul's Ruins. I strongly recommend almond biscuits and meat floss egg roll (two thumbs up!!!). The most famous Portuguese egg tarts is from King Luis, healthy tarts made of olive oil, not oily also it's still fresh after two to three days. About RM50 for 12 tarts, slightly expensive but you can only buy it via making order, phone calls. (our tour guide helped us). I love the tarts!!!

Well in Macau, everywhere has casino even the hotel I stayed having a big and Egypt-themed casino. So here's the rich interior deco of hotel. The Venetian...

The "sky" is always blue here. Nice :D

it's actually fake blue sky in The Venetian casino's indoor shopping place.

Now onto Hong Kong, must eat food are doriyaki (red bean pancake), this (bee hive pancake?!?) and dim sum!!! get a bite on doriyaki when it's still hot, red beans melted in your mouth, it's so wonderfully irresistible! yummy!

had this abalone during lunch, taste...-okok-.

Okie I'll stop here, hope this post didn't make you drooling...I'll come back to continue the story soon :)

b.a.c.k

Hi all. I'm back!

For the past 6 days I had fabulous vacation in Hong Kong and I find Shenzhen, Macau, and Hong Kong are really nice places; especially Disneyland that I already left my heart there...=D I love Mickey. haha. So overall, it's been a nice week filled with laughters, yummy food, and a lot of walking under bright sunny or rainy weather. It's early autumn yet the weather is broiling like summer season. I'm thinking that it would be better if the weather is a little cooler. XD

I need a little more time to write a post about the trip. so I'll be back here soon for that. XD

Also I'm kinda excited as this week is coming to an end so this indicates that my industrial training is going to end then I'll be officially on holiday! Yippy!

vacation packing

picture of my baggage. little colour edited.

I've a plane to catch tomorrow, it's flight at midnight so day after tomorrow to be exact.
So I'm going to be "out of the office" for couple of days I'm all packed an ready to go, must-haves are clothes in maximum confort, some lightweight pieces for travelling outfit and comfortable shoes that I can walk miles in. I'm ready for a lot of energy to travel! Autumn I'm coming!

Here's a peep into my handbag. These are part of travel neccessities in my bag I'll try to keep it minimal as I don't want to tote a heavy bag when I travel. I will add in my scarf too...

clockwise: earphone, Ricola Lemon Mint, a notebook, lip glosses & lip cream, hair accessories and also my latest purchase: hair blaid hippie bands! <3

Wish you all a wonderful week...=)
I'll be back soon!
