Bangkok-Pattaya (Part I)

After more than a week of rest I finally have some time to write this post on my vacation to Bangkok and Pattaya. The vacation starts with a two hours flight with Singapore Airlines from Changi Airport to Suvarnabhumi Airport (Bangkok). Talking about this trip, it was a 4 nights 5 days trip and in Pattaya itself we had already spent a 2 nights 3 days' time.
As usual my way in writing, I'm not going to group the places visited into Day 1 to Day 5, as in I'll just talk about the place which comes first in my mind.

Floating Market (It's called Damnoen Saduak i think), this floating market is one of the must see attractions in Bangkok. It's such a colourful floating market that you will get to see lots canoes with people selling colourful fruits, vegetables, biscuits, sweets and souvenirs. I'll recommend you to sit down with a coconut drink and observe the colourful floating market (which I did), as this is actually the old and traditional way of selling and buying things in Thailand.

Mini Siam was another attraction visited after floating market. For personal opinion on this place, it will be an interesting place if you have never visited replicas of famous sites worldwide. Due to unbearable hot weather, I never explored the whole place as this place is quite similar to Window of The World in ShenZhen I have visited last year.

One thing I found about Bangkok is that there were terrible traffic jam everywhere. We travelled with tour bus and it took us quite some time to reach our eating place and most attractions. So the best thing to do in bus is.......get a wink of sleep XD or peeped out from bus window for street view.

Stay tuned for part two of this post :)
