After weeks of absence from blogging, I'm back! I've finally found the time to blog as past few weeks were on the hunt for Christmas presents, busy weekend on song practice and Christmas decorations at church, and not forgetting little shopping in conjunction with sales throughout December. This post I came out with my drawings after more than a year I've yet to draw this character I created four years ago and back to the earlier time when I started to blog, I was actually wanted to post more drawings in my blog. It may seem a little kiddish but drawing is one of my favourite hobbies I think it can be used to tell a story in a more interesting way.

Deco Decor

Given an interesting home decorating task, to be exact a white bookshelf, so grabbing some inexpensive stuff I hope I'm able to freshen up the plain bookshelf which my idea is that it will be a storage or display space for books and not forgetting to reuse existing decor stuff, rethink & reuse, saving your pocket and environment.

I used to love wearing crochet top when I was young and now I have been having huge obession with knit wears. It is very comfortable and super easy to wear, cosy and stylish; also it can be elegant and looking good without overdressed.

 

Already forgotten how long I have never stepped into this website for the virtual dress up, more often when having more times back in university, where times can be allocated for hobbies, and, blogging. So this Sunday having some leisure time to come out with my mix and match items which are as belows, two same knit sweaters in couple of different looks. I would like some comments too. =)

 

Exploring Art

SinGapore Art musem.

Commonly known as SAM, stepping into this gallery space with a couple of friends, I've been looking forward to visit there for a long time, the result of choosing between SAM and Art Science Centre just because I love its building which I could say is also a piece of art with antique architectural elements.

And one thing is that we get to enjoy free admission on Deepavali Day!

This venerable building once housed St Joseph’s Institution (SJI), a Catholic boys’ school, run by La Salle Brothers. In 1855, the cornerstone was laid by its founder, Father Jean-Marie Beurel. After 135 years in Bras Basah Road, SJI was relocated, making way for SAM.

Mostly contemporary pieces can be found there, current exhibition is Thai Transience, although some pieces might confuse visitors or to me, some paintings seem a little eerie and mysterious but overall still an inspiring visit. There are few cafes and restaurants that I think I should pay a visit next time.

Below are some snaps from the visit, a place that you should stop by at, besides the shopping malls. An inspiring and interesting gallery for all ages. =)

Little sparkling things for attending wedding tomorrow. One of the most important aspects of a church wedding is definitely the music. Countless practice sessions over the past months I hope all performance will go smoothly and everyone enjoys the musics. More posts coming soon :)

Globe & Binocular

Terrestrial globe necklace. When I saw this on my way to grab my dinner I was amazed on how beautifully the necklace was made, also there's a cute mini binocular attached with the chain. To my astonishment it's a spinning globe and it only cost a few dollars. This is definitely a statement piece for girl who loves to travel and feeling you can make a difference in the world if you believe in it. :)

Little Cuisine

 

A very busy first week of October, ended. It was annual accounts closing also the month I've joined my company for a year! Okay this post has nothing to do with my job anyway it's about my handmade dim sum. =)

 

I am sure there were times when you tried something nice the tastes and aromas of the food can remain with you forever, it can be unforgettable dining out experience or, homemade food. I get surprised when I first tried the dim sum made by mum and sparked my desire to learn making this cuisine.

 

It will be a lengthy post if I explaining all the preparation process, it all starts with finely chopped raw meat, and most steps that need your knife skill as the preparation requires lots of chopping...Anyway a great learning experience today and fits my passion in learning special little cuisine. :)

Sunday ootd

Today's outfit opting for comfort and casual look owing to the fact that casual items are definitely something quick and easy to throw on in a morning rush, this Sunday morning that I have to reach church a two-hour early. Also to my surprise, encountering grocery department's promoter Aunty who thought I am Korean. From now onwards I shall go for more casual look. =p

Bali island (I)

We went to this very beautiful beach...fine soft white sand and gentle breeze with crystal clear turquoise water...

Surprisingly there are no sports activities allowed here which could be one of the reasons we find fewer people here. A twenty-minute given to explore around so we had a few photos on this pretty beach. The sun was flaming hot but it lights up the white sand beach, and the ambient background of gently lapping waves, my favourite relaxing and quiet destination.

Italian Delight

A special lunch treat to my family on the Sunday two weeks ago, at Gianni's Trattoria.



It's an authentic Italian cuisine restaurant located at Taman Pelangi, Johor Bahru, the interior combines relaxed, quaint rustic and cozy homely ambiance. Glad that I made the reservation, as it was fully booked on the main floor so we were directed to our seats on the first floor. I was amazed with the ambience as I had only stepped into the ground floor during my previous dining experience here.
There's a long list of unique Italian pizzas worth a try, large slice with thin, and tasty crust!

Delicious Italian food:) Highly recommended !
