I'm back!
A couple days ago I was in Hanoi, Vietnam... =)
My very first impression of Vietnam after I stepped out of Hanoi airport was...HOT! ! !(it was night time when I reached Hanoi on last Thursday) it's SWELTERING HOT!!! The temperature there is muccchhhh higher than Malaysia, hot and very dry weather unlike windy and humid sunny weather here. Actually I've never been to countries during their summer seasons, this is my very first summer travel, very different from the weather we are having at Malaysia. Thank God I brought easy brezzy pieces to wear, excessive sweating throughout the day also the burning sun has caused my skin tone a shade darker. T.T

Well despite the scorching hot weather, it's a nice and pleasant trip overall. If you wonder why I pick summer time to visit Vietnam, my main purpose for this trip is to attend my cousin's wedding at Hanoi, we planned an extra day visiting places in Hanoi as well as tasting delicious local food and another day that we had to spend at the wedding place. The food are nice especially beef noodles but I advise those who going Vietnam or its neighbouring countries to be careful with food with raw ingredients, raw leaves; I suspected it to cause me gastric+stomachache+diarrhoea after the night I had spring roll with raw leaves in it. You better don't imagine how many times I visited toilet in just a morning time. XD
Below are few pictures I've taken the past couple days I'll come out with another post of more pictures to talk more about the trip.
teatime at Starbucks before heading to airport on Thursday.
Ion Orchard, S'pore.
Stepped into this place for the first time. but I'm not the one who own the bag.
Let's delve into my travel tote...
clockwise: lip balm & lip gloss, ribena pastilles, water bottle, purse, spec case.
on plane
my very first meal at Hanoi. Beef noodles. =)
at Hanoi, you can easily notice low, small tables and chairs at every stall,
like those you can find in kindergarten.
I think it's their culture to have tables and chairs like that.
spent three nights here.
2nd dinner at Hanoi, at Wild Rice restaurant.
I love the ambience there. =)
streets...
spotted this transparent box at airport. Sharp objects (prohibited items) that are not allow to bring on airplane are thrown here. I was surprised to spot a HAMMER inside! Why do people bring hammer to the airport? @.@ lol.
my ham and cheese sandwich on plane. SGD 8 =.=
My aunt recommended nasi lemak but the very last set had taken by my bro.
Nasi lemak is SGD 10 still many people ordered it, must be really nice i think.
